Redding, California.... aaaahhhh, so relaxing!
The beauty of a window seat is best described by Niah: "Mommy, can we have a seat by the window?"... "Why not?" .... "Oh, well, when I'm a mommy, I'm going to have a seat by the window just like this one."We took a super fun trip up to Redding to visit my Aunt, Uncle and cousin. The drive there went well, only having to stop once to feed Colton and let the girls stretch their legs. The DVD player in the car is a nerve-saver! Camping was not on the list this year. Just thinking about the amount of packing, preparing, and dirt is enough to make me want to faint. So the alternative was so amazing that I thought, "Um, why haven't we done THIS 100 times before?" Sleeping in a bed, in a house beats an air mattress in a tent! Camping is great, but not for this momma until every child can walk at least.
So, thanks to my great fam, we went boating, apple picking (in the back yard) and even got to take naps. It was the perfect vacation.
Aren't family (and vacations) awesome?
